Eau Claire, Wis. (WEAU) – The Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce is recognizing local businesses for their contributions to the community with its “Bravo to Business” event.
Held at Florian Gardens, it will feature this year’s Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, New Business of the Year and Young Professionals Workplace finalists.
Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO David Miner said these awards are run by community members.
“Anyone can nominate any business. We had over 65 to 70 nominations. Two-thirds of those were simply citizens, just people, I think this is a great business or this is great. So they’re showing that support. The awards themselves speak for themselves.” “It’s about showing what businesses are doing and how they’re doing and the importance of supporting them,” Miner said.
This year’s “Bravo to Business” winners include ReforMedicine, SC, Huebsch Services, Valley Sports Academy and Royal Credit Union.
