This London Fashion Week, renowned British design house Margaret Howell presented its new Spring/Summer 2023 collection, continuing to demonstrate that the brand is all about fit and fabric.

This season explains the beauty of the house by combining everyday style with sophistication. While refined tailoring is still a focus of the collection, the pieces lean towards less traditional silhouettes, highlighting the comfort that comes with sportswear and showcasing informal wear. The designer elevated one of her most popular pants with a slim ski-pant inspiration, the dark pinstripe sweatpants from a cinched waist to a T-shirt made of lightweight cotton material. With the help of an over-the-top aesthetic, including a boxy bomber jacket. Zip-up lined parkas add a touch of sportswear-inspired flair this season.

Jersey jackets are layered under sweaters. Especially for men’s clothes, there is a big focus on heavy fabrics. Pants are wide and full-length and can be worn as skirts, low-rise pieces. Denim pants use Japanese workwear techniques, while woolen skirts and knit sweaters continue the edgy look. A-line jackets in olive and navy add to the functionality of the pieces, creating a collection that focuses on an elevated casual style for the individual.

In other fashion news, Percival offers a calm and collected layering in FW22.
