Calgary, Alberta–(Business Wire–Xpan Interactive Ltd. (Expan) has relocated to a new Calgary headquarters to accommodate the rapid growth in the midst of Alberta’s thriving technology sector. The new office is located in Hillhurst, just north of the downtown core.

Alberta’s technology sector Calgary is leading the way in headquarters investment with 96 percent, projected to grow to nearly $500 million by 2022. Expan’s move from its Triwood area office to its new Campana Place headquarters in Hillhurst was made possible by the efforts of Vision Young’s commercial real estate Calgary team.
“Calgary has been our home for more than 20 years, which has allowed us to work with Alberta post-secondary institutions, government and industry partners to foster innovation and growth in Alberta jobs,” Thiele said.
Expan operates as a hybrid organization with team members operating from multiple office locations across North America. Calgary will house the majority of Expan’s workforce, with the group’s total expected to reach 100 by the end of 2022.
The Calgary office is also home to the Xpan internship program for talent development from local schools. In addition, team members from across the country are invited to the Calgary headquarters in July for a series of professional development events, collaborative activities and celebrations.
Each member of the Expan team is committed to supporting its customers by developing advanced digital literacy solutions, such as award-winning educational experiences, in collaboration with industry and community partners.
