new york – Now that sweater weather is officially here, it’s time to refresh your wardrobe by reaching for what’s on trend.

College

“Back to school fashion isn’t just for students. The college look is a big trend for the season,” says Ayers. “We’ve seen it on the runway for big brands like Burberry and Louis Vuitton in the past few seasons, but the look really exploded when Ralph Lauren teamed up with Morehouse College for a collection that highlighted HBCU college culture.”

Another option for an athletic look is the Varsity jacket.

Jeans with a jacket are no longer a thing.

“The whole denim outfit is one thing, and it’s not difficult to pull off. The trick is to find jeans that are all the same or the same color. Combine your jeans – Levi’s wheels – with a denim jacket or shirt. And your outfit is complete. Try denim overalls instead of pants with shoulder straps for added elegance. “Yes, it’s fall. Yes, it’s freezing,” says Ayers. “Yes, we can pass.”

“Be it real or synthetic, leather and shearling are staples for the winter months,” says Ayers. “And we are not limited by the natural animal colors of black, brown and gray – now you can choose any color in the rainbow.”

The biggest trend right now is full leather outfits and hairdos, says Ayers.

“There’s a nod to men’s fashion, specifically tailored suits, in the 1980s and ’90s,” says Ayers. “Women are starting to have bigger shoulders and men are going back to the double-breasted option.”
