Derek Favors to the Houston Department of Commerce
The trade is sending Oklahoma City in the midst of rebuilding rivals in the Western Conference. Alvarado stars in advertising campaigns
New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado stars recently for New Balance and Aimé Leon Dore, a popular Lower East Side menswear store.
The undrafted guard out of Georgia Tech is originally from Brooklyn, where he attended Christ the King High School – the same school as Sue Bird and Lamar Odom.
Alvarado, who is known for hiding and sneaking around the court, was spotted taking free throw practice for the first time at the ALD/NB Masaryk Community Gym on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. He watches game highlights with his mom, saying she knows it will always be special.
We see some beautiful footage of New York City as Alvarado talks about the strong basketball culture that grew up around him. He also discusses his father’s boxing career and creating his own legacy.
“My goal was to take this orange ball as far as I could,” says Alvarado.

OKOGIE is sidelined with Hamsterol
A newly found wing Josh Okogie On the eve of the Phoenix Suns’ first preseason game, he experienced left foot soreness.
The news was confirmed by Arizona Sports Kelan Olson on Friday, Okogie is now scheduled for light duty before being re-evaluated in two weeks.
It must be a big disappointment for the 24-year-old, who was eager to impress the new team during the pre-season. Moreover, Okogie is in a real fight to become a regular part of the solar cycle this season.

DEVOE was signed by the Clippers, then waived
He left the Los Angeles Clippers Michael DeVoe Tuesday, ESPN.com’s Ohm Youngmisuk reported.
DeVoe signed a non-guaranteed training camp deal with the Clippers in mid-September, but was one of three cuts the team made following the preseason opener in Los Angeles. The former Yellow Jacket is looking to commit to a G League team before the start of the 2022-23 campaign.
