Tyler Prochnow, Ph.D., assistant professor of health behavior at the Texas A&M University School of Public Health, will speak at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 11, in the Graduate Education Building, Room 343. His lecture is titled “Connectivity Matters: In Life, Health and Research.” Registration is required.

He plans to lead a discussion on how social network analysis can be used in current research in health and technology to answer new research questions.

The second speaker in the center’s series is Mark Williams, PhD, dean of the Fay W. Boothman College of Public Health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The talk, “What’s in the Picture: The Impact of Social Media on Health,” will be Friday, October 14 at noon in Room 239 of the Graduate Education Building. Registration is required.
