“My favorite part of dressing for these shows and events is celebrating that designer/brand by wearing one of their looks. Three must-haves during fashion months: My ‘go-to’ trench – a great layering piece to dress up or down a look, a pair of ankle boots without high heels Shoes (I love The Row boots) – your feet will be tired after a few days! Last but not least: a big leather jacket – my go-to is from Prada.
“I’m always excited to see what the designers and their teams are creating. Beyond the ‘buzz’ around fashion weeks with celebrities/influencers in attendance, at the end of the day, the shows are a celebration of art and creativity. That’s the real reason I attend.”
“Having created my own clothing brand[Athir]I now have a deep appreciation for each and everyone who has been a part of creating these clothes and collections, as well as the production teams – it really does take a village. I always look forward to seeing these unique, hardworking people.”
“TikTok has become an incredible community for me and I love showing off to the people who support me. It’s a lot to fit everything in one day, but in the end, it’s all about prioritizing the most important thing. I think people can feel that my brand connections are authentic and therefore the videos are more natural and less forced.
“I’m a Miu Miu girl, and I absolutely loved the Miu Miu collection. Everything from her choice of colors, and fabrics, as well as the layering and different sizes of the pieces are fun to look at. Needless to say, I also loved the Prada collection and found the deliberate ‘unfussiness’ of the fabric brilliant.
“Lots of memories are honestly made during Fashion Month. One that will always stick with me is attending Riccardo Tisci’s last Burberry show in London. Even if it isn’t officially announced until the day after the event, you can feel welcome.
