At Midwife Life Health and Menopause Center, we help women take control of their health and improve their health during the menopause transition. Accredited by the Menopause Society of North America, our clinics offer treatment and support for menopause-related symptoms, as well as education about how it affects your overall health.

The menopause phase of life begins with perimenopause, which usually begins in the 40s but can vary. The full transition to menopause occurs 10 or more months after the last period. The average age of menopause is 52.

We treat menopause where the ovaries stop producing estrogen due to radiation therapy, certain drug treatments, or surgical removal.

The patient’s experience

During perimenopause, estrogen and progesterone levels become irregular. While these hormonal changes are completely normal, they can cause symptoms that vary in intensity and duration. Before your first visit, we will ask you to fill out a detailed questionnaire to help us understand your symptoms and how the transition will affect your daily life. We’ll ask about your experience with a variety of menopause symptoms, such as menstrual changes, hot flashes, night sweats, sleep problems, difficulty concentrating, memory problems, bone and joint problems, bladder and genital concerns, and changes in sexual health. .

The decrease in estrogen that comes with menopause can increase some health conditions. We provide screening and guidance to help you reduce the risks associated with these conditions. Heart disease, Osteoporosisand urinary and genital issues.

Your first visit is a 45-minute consultation, either in person or through a virtual visit. During this session, we will evaluate your symptoms, discuss treatment options, and create a customized care plan. Follow-up appointments are scheduled as needed to ensure your symptoms are resolved.
