Main Responsibilities:-
– Together with the Category Design Manager, you will take full responsibility for the product’s success, sales success and growth
– Regularly improve the category in cooperation with the category design manager: point out and improve the weaknesses in the category and the quality of the fabric. Participate in development projects, provide proactive and focused input to ensure additional production processes run smoothly
– Create 4 main collections and 2-4 descriptive collections per year
– Current research including travel to big cities
– Create style sheets according to style budget, keep track of your ideas on the sheet
– Ensuring that the design deadline is met
– Work closely with the purchasing team and pattern making team
– Continually improve fabric quality, fit and production to meet market demands.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree and above, major in fashion design is mandatory.
– Excellent English and writing skills
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in fashion design (Menswear experience is mandatory)
– Proficient using Adobe Illustrator (required), Photoshop and MS Office
– Excellent business sense
– Good communication skills, team player and be good at expressing ideas
– Used to work with deadlines, and well organized, able to work under pressure
