Pralhad Wamanrao Pai- Jeevanvidya is the science of life as well as the art of successful and harmonious living. It’s vision dwells on the Mindset Revolution. It’s foremost and important aim is to imbibe the fact in your mind that, ‘You are the architect of your destiny.’ In order to become the architect of one’s life and spread happiness in the life of your co-workers at office, Satguru Wamanrao Pai (Founder of Life transforming Jeevanvidya Mission) has described some leadership styles.

According to Satguru’s vision, a true leader maintains excellent relationships and is a visionary. Let’s get into knowing more about the various types of leaders.

Types of Leaders

Visionary –

It is very important for a leader to envision the ultimate outcome. And, transforming this vision into a reality with smart work and direction for the company are the qualities of a visionary leader. Similarly, setting priorities at the right time and striking a balance between performance and relationship equally play a significant role.

Participative –

Participative leaders consider the team’s feedback and understand their team members before executing the organizational decisions. They have a good bonding with the team. As a result, the team supports them in upcoming decisions. Such leaders are better than the autocratic ones, who dictate others instead of being co-operative.

Goody-goody leader – This leader pleases and accepts all. She/ he lets things go the way they are. Such a leader is complacent and can never direct the company. The company suffers in terms of the performance.

Employee relations and company’s performance are equally important. They should go hand in hand. Only emotional or only performance-centric decisions are not productive. Therefore, a balanced leader should strike a golden mean between both tendencies of decisions.

Empathetic leader – This type of leader relates with the employee’s problems and feelings. She/he can willingly connect with the team of employees. Such a leader doesn’t show sympathy towards anybody but behaves sensitively with the fellow team members. It ensures an enriching work environment.

Conclusion –

A truly, matured leader knows how and when to alternatively consider performance and emotions in an organization. He/she needs to be humble, confident and good at heart for executing productive decisions.

A true justice to any organization is a mixture of multiple leadership qualities.
