Anthony Rubio Canine Couture and Women’s Wear Show
This season, Anthony Rubio’s dog couture show served up the main Woofs. The semi-annual show kicked off on Sunday with more than a dozen dogs dressed in suits, gowns and dresses. As the lights dimmed and the show began, this reporter asked, “Which dog is yours?” He heard the whisper. “It’s the Yorkie. This is her second year modeling. As soon as the whispers stopped, the lights came on and the dogs came out, escorted by the models, to the airport.
Adorned with brightly colored sequins, feathers and jewels, these dogs looked regal. The dresses were nothing short of what you would expect; Flowing and long that doubles as a charm hammer. The clothes were the same; bedazzled and bejeweled. All the dogs would glare at me as they walked across the porch, most with their tongues out, and their noses and pinkies up.
We were very impressed, but one could not say the same for the dogs. They certainly weren’t impressed by our existence. But what can you expect from dogs that serve MAJOR Woofs? And yes, there was also a cat that was unapologetically loaded with big shadows. Kelly Walker

Tommy Hilfiger
Tommy Hilfiger made a big return for New York Fashion Week on Sunday with a rain-or-shine, star-studded event.
The iconic brand has drawn crowds to Brooklyn’s Skyline Drive-In, a self-proclaimed “Tommy Factory,” featuring a fashion revamp that celebrates the origins of Tommy’s Prep. At first, he danced a simple blob on the intricate runway. But as soon as the show started, it started to rain – a characteristic that marks the rebirth of the brand’s fashion.
Celebrities turned out to champion the brand’s return. Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Travis Barker (who performed later) were among the audience. Famous supermodels Kate Moss and Shawn Mendes were spotted alongside Kris Jenner and John Legend.
Various models captured the audience’s attention from every part of the stage as they stormed the industrial-looking catwalk. Styles started out simpler – for Tommy Hilfiger’s ranks, in bold styles from bright primary colors to school-to-school outfits for the rowdy students at Hogwarts. Trends have moved on to color blocking, primal prints and cowboy-themed denim ensembles (with whips and awesome hats in tow).
Keeping with the theme, Beyoncé’s songs Renaissance Album directed tone sense. It was once again an invitation for house music to return to the fashion scene, but in a modern way.
Tommy Hilfiger says hit spring and winter. The show featured a complete ready-to-wear line for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. With bold scarves, knit-material pants, jackets and oversized puffer coats, the designer has made sure shoppers don’t have to wait for what they want. Brooke Leigh Howard
