Saint Anthony – A Central Texas man has been charged with illegally selling handguns to buyers in the San Antonio area.

Michael Anthony Flynn, 46, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to one count of aiding and abetting a person engaged in the illegal arms trade, the US Department of Justice said.

Flynn is a federally licensed gun dealer from Liberty Hill, north of Austin.

From October 2019 to February 2022, Flynn worked with Truett Shane Street, 56, of Lake Way, to purchase a large number of firearms from brokers and online retailers, the release states.

Road sold Flynn a gun even though he didn’t have a license, according to authorities.

Flynn sold the gun through his Strategic Dynamic International business and sold the street for cash.

More than 210 guns were sold primarily at gun shows in the San Antonio area, officials said.
