Lubbock, Texas – The Big 12 Conference on Monday announced a 2 p.m. CT kickoff for Texas Tech’s homecoming contest on Oct. 22 at Jones AT&T Stadium against West Virginia. National broadcast details will be finalized after October 15th, but it was announced that it will be shown on FS1 or FS2.

The Red Raiders, who are 3-0 at home this season, will return on Oct. 22 when they beat Texas in a dramatic 37-34 victory over Texas on Oct. 22, 28 days away from Jones AT&T Stadium. Back home, Texas Tech will look to extend its three-game winning streak on the mountain in 2022. The most recent matchup in 2022 was a 23-20 win over West Virginia in Morgantown in 2021. The Oct. 22 contest will be the 11th all-time. Meeting between the two schools and 10th since West Virginia joined the Big 12 before the 2012 season.

While the Oct. 29 contest against Baylor has been announced as a sellout, tickets for Texas Tech and West Virginia are available and start at $20 with promo code “Homecoming22.” Available online or by contacting the Athletics Ticket Office at 806-742-TECH.
