Phoenix Fashion Week, known for discovering and promoting the next “it” fashion designers and top Arizona models, will feature over 20 runway shows this season, October 14-15 at the beautiful Chat Lux venue in North Phoenix. Each evening, the Fashion Forward event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with exclusive pop-up shopping and an international runway experience until 10:00 p.m. The two-day event culminates with an intensive designer bootcamp led by Phoenix Fashion Week executive. , Brian Hill, in which seven hand-picked designers are preparing to debut their collections at Phoenix Fashion Week and beyond.

Also that evening, Hill and the Phoenix Fashion Week team will announce a prize package that includes ‘Designer of the Year’ and goods and services for the winning designer to ensure long-term brand success.
In addition to the spectacular designer runway shows, guests will enjoy an elevated experience that includes the new Chateau Luxe VIP Champagne Lounge by two-time award-winning personal chef Will Turner. This new experience includes VIP front row seating, a coveted swag bag filled with fashion goodies, a red carpet experience, exclusive designer pop-up shopping at the Style Villa Marketplace, designer meet and greets, live music, high energy performances and more.
The ‘Emerging Designer Bootcamp’ is designed for fashion designers to build the foundation of their brand for long-term success and be mentored by Hill. “The intense 3-month ‘Emerging Designer Bootcamp’ challenges all aspects of a designer’s brand for the title of ‘Designer of the Year’. Every year we welcome a few exceptional designers to the Live Bootcamp,” Hill said.
These brands have launched their own clothing line, and now develop an identity of who their ideal fashion customer is, then focus on the business side of the brand to drive sales. Phoenix Fashion Week found fashion designers to be very creative, but most lacked the business knowledge, approach and effective structure to succeed. The Emerging Designer Bootcamp curriculum teaches budding fashion designers how to reinvent their thinking, attitude and daily practices by focusing first on the business side of their brands.
