Can Telehealth in Schools Solve America’s Mental Health Crisis?

The children are not well. A CDC analysis released earlier this year found that in 2021 — the second year of the epidemic — more than 37 percent of high school students experienced a mental health problem, and 44 percent said they felt persistently sad or hopeless during the year.

Mental health was worsening before the pandemic — according to previous studies by the CDC.
