In the year 2020 will be the year of the lockdown and the spread of COVID-19 — the virus that took the United States by storm, leaving millions dead, sick or isolated. Even after vaccination, new strains of the virus, such as the delta variant, which became the predominant variant in the US in June 2021, triggered a third wave of the virus.

But in the year In 2022, with the current population preoccupied with Ukraine, gas and monkey disease issues, COVID-19 is sidelined. Social media has turned to other issues, all while covid is still and still very much a pandemic.

Despite the ongoing threat, many medical authorities have stopped issuing a series of Covid advisories, believing that more people are protected. But there are still fears that another wave of COVID could hit the United States and send the entire country into isolation. We still need to take this epidemic seriously.

The media and government should do better in sending updates to citizens and cooperating with Covid updates. As citizens we must do everything we can to protect ourselves from the covid virus, which is still there and is still the same epidemic that has shut this nation down.
