Plates – Georgia Tech men’s tennis won four singles and two wins on the second day of competition at the Vanderbilt University Commodore Invitational.
Andres Martin And Rohan Sachdev UT Austin’s Nevin Arimilly and Evin McDonald continued their winning streak with a 6-4 win. In the Flight ‘B’ East quarterfinals, Martin defeated Vanderbilt’s Sim Trost 6-1, 6-2.
In the comfort game, Marcus McDaniel He won both singles and doubles matches. McDaniels defeated South Carolina’s Jake Beasley 6-2, 6-4. Elias Shokri He joined McDaniel in the semifinals of the Doubles Green and the duo cruised to a 6-2 win over Mississippi. Sackdev defeated both Vanderbilt’s Connor Rob Wilcox (6-4, 6-2) and UT Austin’s Ishan Talley (6-2, 6-4) to earn his spot in the Flight ‘C’ West finals.
