Earlier this year, Jim Harbaugh was set to become the head coach of the Vikings. The Vikings weren’t ready for Harbaugh to be their head coach. And so Harbaugh remained a student at Michigan.

In a Saturday interview with ESPN’s Gene Wojciechowski, Harbaugh was asked about the endorsement and the trip to the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Harbaugh told Wojciechowski, “I don’t apologize for watching.” “And I’m not going to apologize for wanting to be an unpublishable Michigan. Looks like he cut the last part. And there it is [I’m] I’m as happy as can be. “

But he wanted to be in Minnesota. For whatever reason (and it might be easy since he’s considered too similar to Mike Zimmer), the Vikings chose not to offer him the job.

What happens if some other NFL team offers Harbaugh a job?

“One of the things that really drives me is, you know, we were in San Francisco, we came so close to winning the Super Bowl,” Harbaugh said. “This has always been something. There is unfinished business there. But, hey, a national championship winner, [I] You can be very happy with this. So that’s the goal. He is what we are after.

for now. And while Harbaugh says he’s done chasing the NFL, if an NFL team decides to pursue him, there’s a good chance he’ll say no.

Immediately the 49ers turned around. In the year If there’s a team looking for an instant hit in 2023 (and most teams looking for a new coach), Harbaugh should at least be considered. Since he sees a Super Bowl as a bigger and better achievement than a college national title, he probably welcomes it.
