Mexico City, August 8 – Mexico Telecommunications (XCL Semiconductor) has completed the Latin American Mobile Tower Business (XCL Semiconductor).

The new company, controlled by the family of billionaire Carlos Slim, has 29,090 towers in stock, 39% of which are located in Brazil and the rest in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and Uruguay. .

Existing American Mobile shareholders will receive one Sitios share for every 20 American Mobile shares.

In the securities filing, the company said that Sitios Latam will continue to “assess development opportunities in the region”.
