LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Reynolds Army Health Clinic has received The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval after an evaluation.
The seal demonstrates the healthcare organization’s commitment to providing safe, quality patient care.
“I’ve only been here three years, and working with this team has been the biggest accomplishment, possibly of my entire nursing career,” said Francella Smoking, Joint Commission officer. Colonel Bryden, the deputies, none of which would have been the same without their leadership and guidance. It was so flawless.”
The clinic has been evaluated in ambulatory health care, behavioral health care, human services and primary care medical homes.
This review is conducted once every 3 years for 22,000 hospitals.
“It’s definitely a breath of relief to prepare for something for years and to have that event happen and get a good result for our team. And it gives the consumers we serve, the soldiers, families and retirees of the FIRES community, the confidence that they will receive safe, quality and readily available reliable care here at Reynolds Army Health Clinic.
Col Bryden said the clinic had undergone significant changes in recent years but was proud of its team for its constant quality improvements.
