This week in our memory of a fallen warrior, we remember Tech. Sgt. Jason Norton, a member of the 3rd Security Forces Regiment.


Norton was born in Miami, Oklahoma in 1973. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1992 at the age of 18.


In the year On January 22, 2006, in Altaji, Iraq, Norton, 31, was struck by an enemy-implanted explosive device.


At the time of his death, Norton did not have a service dog assigned to him.


In 2012 341St The Security Forces Regiment has adopted the last name Norton for its new puppy program of military working dogs. MWD Norton served for 7 years before retiring.


Norton’s loved ones said he was devoted to his two children and that family was all about him. He is survived by his wife Christina and children Rebecca and Dalton.
