CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Samsung is showing off two new foldable smartphones in its fourth-generation Galaxy Z series – Flip4 and Fold4.
The tech company claims the Flip4 has an improved camera experience, a bigger battery and expanded customization.
With FlexCam, Flip4 lets you shoot hands-free video and get group selfies from different angles.
Samsung says this phone is good for content creators and vloggers.
You can do more without unlocking the phone.
Use the cover screen to make calls, reply to texts and even unlock your car!
The Flip battery lasts longer between charges and can charge up to 50 percent in half an hour.
Pricing for the Flip4 starts at $1,000, and comes in purple, graphite, rose gold, and blue.
If you love multitasking, the Galaxy Z Fold4 smartphone is for you.
Samsung says it’s the first device to ship with a special version of Android 12L created by Google.
You can do more on the go with the new taskbar.
The layout is similar to your PC, so you can access your favorite apps, swipe them easily, and switch full-screen apps to pop-up windows or split your screen.
The Fold4 starts at $1,800, and comes in gray, green, beige, and black.
Samsung also unveiled its updated Bluetooth headset.
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is 15 percent smaller than before.
They have surround sound and noise canceling features.
And if you misplace them, SmartThings Find makes it quick and easy to find them.
Prices for these headphones start at around $230. They come in graphite, white and purple.
Both the Galaxy Z phones and headphones will be available online and in stores starting August 26.
If you pre-order, Samsung is offering special discounts on them.
