After a bit of a lull due to the covid virus or whatever (you may have heard of this!), fashion month is back in full force – and designers are working alongside top make-up artists, hair stylists and nail artists. For lost time.
From New York to Paris, we’ve seen the most dramatic makeup looks and hairstyles for the spring/summer 2023 season, with punk-inspired eyes, plucked afros, and a full face of glitter.
And while it was hard to narrow it down, we somehow managed to round up our favorite looks of the season. From Christian Cowan to Chanel, find our picks for the best beauty this season.

Christian Cowan
According to Christian Cowan’s latest runway show, punk makeup is here to stay.

Long side bangs and black lines are giving us the Y2K nostalgia we need. The model’s skin was primed with appropriate skincare products and Stila’s Artistic Head and Global Beauty Director Charlie Riddle created sultry glam.

“For Bagley Mishka’s return to the runway for Spring 2023, we went with ‘pure joy’ for makeup,” Mary Irwin, makeup artist at Bagley Mishka, shared in a statement. “[We’re] Inspired by Morocco – Marrakech and Casablanca, with rich colors and textures.” A more subtle, monochrome pink makeup is predicted to move forward.
