The Boone County Health Department will host a series of clinics to manage the new COVID-19 outbreak.
A booster that provides better protection against the now dominant omicron variants is offered at three clinics by the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services. Each clinic is by appointment only:
Vaccines are available from Modarena and Pfizer/BioNTech and can be given two months after the person’s last vaccination. Moderna is available to people 18 and older, while the Pfizer shot can be given to people 12 and older.
