Cheyenne Leatham She crossed the line first for the Hokies in a time of 21:34.4, finishing fifth overall in the women’s 6K. Close behind was the sixth. Ava Hasebroek Finishing in 21:38.4 hours. The five Hokies all scored in the 15th, leading them to second place behind Liberty with 30 points. Lindsey Butler Finished eighth (21:54.2), resp Grace Brown On the 11th (22:00.6), and Sarah Leach in 14th (22:21.9).
Five of the hockey men finished in the top 20 for third with 50 points. Antonio Lopez Segura He scored second on the team with a time of 24.34.9. Arnav TK He finished sixth with a time of 25:11.6 Victor Idhamar 9th (25:18.0), and David Kennedy He finished 14th in a time of 25:27.8. Rounding out the team’s results was David Whitfield, who crossed the finish line in 19th place with a time of 25:45.5. Liberty won the men’s 8K with 30 points, while East Tennessee State finished second with 48 points.
The Hokies next travel to Charlottesville, Va., on Oct. 15 to compete in the Panorama Farms XC 23 Invitational. The meeting will start at 10:00 am
