The Small Business Center plans a September distribution in seven counties

JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at Arkansas State University will host “How to Get SBA Financing for Your Small Business” from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Delta Economic Development Center, 318 University Loop West.
Herb Lawrence, Arkansas District Office, Small Business Administration will discuss financing options and how small businesses can obtain capital for their businesses.
Businesses in cities throughout Northeast Arkansas are scheduled to meet with an ASBTDC business advisor in September.
ASBTDC provides one-on-one confidential guidance for business owners and entrepreneurs. The main areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing and profitability.
September session dates, advisors and locations are as follows:
– Tuesday, September 13 – Counseling, 10 a.m. to noon, Laura Miller, Center Director, Spring River Innovation Center, Cherokee Village.
– Tuesday, September 13 – Consultation, 10 am-3 pm, Candence Brooks, business consultant, Trumann Municipal Complex, Trumann.
– Thursday, September 15 – Counseling, 10 am-3 pm, Laura Miller, Center Director, Batesville Chamber of Commerce, Batesville.
– Thursday, September 15 – Consultation, 10 am-3 pm, Candence Brooks, Business Consultant, Newport Chamber of Commerce, Newport.
– Thursday, September 15 – Marketing Your Small Business, 10 am-12 pm; Consultation 1 pm – 3 pm, Robert Bahn, Business Consultant, Mississippi County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Blytheville
– Thursday, September 22 – Consultation, 10 am-2 pm, Laura Miller, Center Director, Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, Pocahontas.
– Thursday, September 22 – Marketing Your Small Business, 10 am-12 pm; Consultation 1 pm-3 pm, Robert Bahn, Business Consultant, Osceola/South Mississippi County Chamber of Commerce, Osceola.
The sessions were made possible through joint sponsorship from FNBC, First Community Bank, NEA Intermodal Authority, East Arkansas Planning and Development District, First Security Bank and Simmons Bank.
