LUBBOCK, Texas After two days of doubles back-to-backs, three Red Raider pairings are advancing to the West Texas Pro Tennis Open quarterfinals after wins on Tuesday and Wednesday. In addition, three more Red Raiders are set to compete in the second round of the singles major draw.

In singles, an all-Red Raiders match was played earlier today Ole Wallin And Tyler StewartAfter winning two games in the qualifiers, they faced each other in the first round, which ended in a draw. Wallin won the match 6-2, 6-4.

Yesterday, both Stuart and Frank Rioro Things got rolling for Texas Tech after they defeated the doubles pair of Mikael Anderson and Jakub Ostajewski in two sets, 6-3, 6-3.

The Red Raiders went 10-3 after allowing just 3 points.

Tomorrow in singles, Azoidis will face eighth seed Gabriel Evans in the second round, then Arevalo and Wallin are set for another Red Raider matchup. In doubles, Ribero and Stewart will take on former TCU Horned Frog Juan Carlos Aguilar and SMU’s Pranav Kumar, while the Pawlak/Wallin duo is set to play the pair of Arevalo/Azoidis.
