Charlottesville, Va. (WIRE) – As UVA students begin to return to the city and on campus, businesses on the corner are providing much-needed support to get back to normal.
“We’re excited to see all the new students, and all the returning students and returning parents,” Miners President Cal Minser said.
The corner is filled with seven blocks of bars, bookstores, clothing stores, restaurants and nightspots.
All students have been making arrangements to return to campus.
“We’ve been waiting all August in preparation for this weekend in particular,” Mincer said. With traffic, we have more people on the corner and more people on the campus. We definitely get a lot of customers, which is great, so we look forward to it throughout the year. “
Mincer said a new inventory for students, parents and visitors to return to was #1 on their to-do list.
“We have prepared all our new strategies. The shelves are full, and the shelves are full, so we can anticipate a lot of traffic and make sure everyone has the selection they need throughout the day.
They say that this preparation will prepare them for months.
