New York Fashion Week is all about showing off, so it’s no surprise that several LGBTQ+ celebrities did just that at this year’s events.

Just weeks after Lil Nas X was named YSL Beauty’s new ambassador, the Grammy-winning rapper has made his first run for another iconic brand. Rocking a black leather vest with silver accents and coordinating shorts, he also sported long sweaters, a chrome manicure and a sparkling gold clutch at the Coach Spring/Summer 23 fashion show on September 12.

The coach has announced that he is collaborating with the “industrial rapper” celebrity on a custom tour outfit for his “Long Live Montero” world tour. His looks included a crystal-encrusted pink football uniform, a gold gladiator suit and the equestrian trainer’s signature western outfit.

That same day, Venezuelan DJ and musician Arca was a stunning model at the luxury brand Proenza Schouler’s show. The trance artist led the final walk, set to “El Alma Que Te Trajo,” a reggaeton collaboration with fellow Venezuelan artist Luis Garban. Arca has previously worked on campaigns with Calvin Klein and Lowe’s, and also cameos in Bottega Veneta’s pre-fall 2021 lookbook.
