ServiceNow has released additional solutions in the Now Platform Tokyo, designed to maximize operational information and trust.
In addition to ServiceNow Vault, ServiceNow is also releasing AI-powered features and developer and risk management tools to help organizations operate more efficiently and develop more resilient business models.
According to Gartner, software infrastructure spending in segments that include PaaS, cloud management and security will grow at a double-digit rate, with total spending forecast to exceed $120 billion by 2026.
Amidst macroeconomic uncertainty and unprecedented cyber risk, customers are leveraging the breadth of ServiceNow’s capabilities as a platform for digital business. Additional solutions in the Tokyo release leverage AI and advanced platform privacy and security controls to enhance business intelligence and reduce risk.
“Operational trust and efficiency are top priorities for business leaders. Organizations are investing in digital technologies that help them unlock results and save costs while protecting their data in an increasingly challenging and complex risk landscape,” said John Sigler, SVP of Now Platform at ServiceNow.
“With our new AI-powered automated and risk management solutions at Tokyo Release, we’re helping customers create more resilient, secure and efficient business models all on one platform so they can navigate uncertainty with confidence,” Sigler continued.
New Tokyo solutions that boost intelligence and confidence in business include:
- Function for customer service management Arming service agents with AI and automation capabilities will help them focus on more complex customer issues and be more empathetic when dealing with customers. Action Intelligence applies AI to common use cases such as segmenting emails and issues and sending them to the right team at the right time in the right language through sentiment analysis to show customer tone to agents. Prioritize work.
- Automation Center It empowers IT teams and automation centers of excellence with a complete view of their organization’s hyper-automation landscape in a centralized, vendor-agnostic hub, driving greater efficiency and cost savings across the organization. In addition to managing ServiceNow’s own RPA within the automation engine, Automation Center provides insights into third-party automation. By integrating automation islands with suppliers, Automation Hub enables organizations to maximize business impact, ROI and operational health.
- DevOps configuration It helps devop teams reduce disruptions caused by configuration changes, make their enterprise software and services more reliable, and help prevent revenue loss associated with outages. DevOps Config included in ITSM Pro manages configuration data for applications, releases, environments and infrastructure in a single repository. Real-time authentication of access control and configuration changes, along with centralized management, security and authentication – seamlessly across development pipelines – helps prevent outages.
- Functional resistance managementPart of the ServiceNow risk management portfolio, it helps organizations continue to serve customers, deliver products and services, and protect their workforce against adverse events. With new Scenario Analysis capabilities, customers can design and simulate events to determine the impact on operational resilience. These new capabilities enable teams to plan ahead as they anticipate, prevent, adapt and recover from any business disruption.
- ITSM Pro+ Adds new business intelligence to digital tools used by employees and customers. For enterprises, ITSM Pro+ includes all the capabilities of ITSM Pro—and adds out-of-the-box analytics and dashboards, as well as a new end-to-end white glove service, Virtual Agent Optimizer (VAO). With VAO, ServiceNow’s team of experts orchestrates, manages and continuously improves virtual agent conversations with natural language understanding (NLU) in real-time, so customers can quickly leverage virtual agents to get the most effective responses and solutions.
- ServiceNow Vault Leveraging dynamic key management and data classification to enable data anonymization, ServiceNow Vault enables organizations to protect confidential data and increase regulatory compliance with native platform encryption. Vault enables organizations to strengthen platform security postures by simplifying the management and protection of machine credentials, while also helping to ensure the integrity and authenticity of code transmitted to the middle server to ensure no malicious input. Finally, Vault enables organizations to export their ServiceNow system and application logs as a service at scale and in real time.
The Now Platform Tokyo release is designed to help organizations navigate business challenges in an uncertain macro environment. The ServiceNow Tokyo release is purpose-built to deliver better employee and customer experiences, increase intelligence and trust in operations, and accelerate value in ways that are good for people, good for the planet and good for profits.
