SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Five designers will compete in the finals of the Fashion Awards Festival at the Phoenix 2.0 Club.
On October 16th, from 10am to 2pm at Pheonix 2.0, five designer finalists chosen on September 17th will compete for a $5,000 grand prize.
Designers are required to produce a collection of six looks for the final runway show. The designers are given critiques, peer support and the opportunity to work with industry experts.
Finalists:
- Amy Treme Designs, Shreveport, LA
- Royal Gunkie, Terrytown, LA.
- Donna Strebeck, Haughton, LA.
- Darien O’Neill Designs, Mardella Springs, MD.
- odAOMO, New Orleans, LA
Judges:
The judges will travel from all over the country to select the 2022 Fashion Awards winner.
- Bobby Lee, VIVYD Magazine.
- Kim & Keyondra Lockett, Jolie Noire.
- Carissa Mitchell, fashion and beauty editor, Teen Vogue
Two types of tickets are available:
- $65 includes general admission, free drink and full brunch and access to the Airplane Fashion Show.
- $150 VIP, which includes two free drinks, brunch, access to designers and models, multiple floors of the venue, a swag bag (items above the ticket price), podium seating on the runway and more.
