Y-Not Pizza and Wings will close permanently this Friday, the business announced on social media. According to the announcement, the closure was due to lack of business and high cost of food.

This is sad to post, but Y-not will be permanently closing its doors on Friday 9/30 at 8pm. This closure is due to lack of business and inability to negotiate lower food costs. We want to thank everyone who has supported us and our amazing staff who have done a great job for us. We still have the last bike night of the year on Thursday. Workers who already have no other jobs lined up, I will help them. Thanks again everyone and get some Y-Not this week come while you still can.

Y-Knot is located at 2710 KY 144 in the old Diane’s Bakery.

The closing comes a year after the business was purchased by Jared and Kelly Strell, along with business partners Robert and Jennifer Wright, who owned Y-Not Pizza and Wings on Oct. 6, 2021. The group tried to change the name of the business. including introducing new menu items and expanding hours.
