There are perfectly good celebrity styles, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones that you’ll desperately try to recreate at home. inThe best clothes in the history of fashion,’ the Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorites.
In the year Since their 2005 comeback debut album ‘All We Know Is Falling Down’, Paramore have become a cultural phenomenon – who can forget the impact of the ‘Misery Business’ on society? And after a five-year hiatus, the band are finally back with their latest track, “That’s Why.”
It’s fair to say that much of the pop-punk and grunge-inspired fashion trends can be attributed to the band’s lead singer Hayley Williams. For nearly 20 (!) years, Williams’ go-to style often includes ripped shorts, worn-out Dr. Martens, and slouchy graphic tees — but occasionally, like on a night out, she deviates from her usual attire. at the 2010 People’s Choice Awards, and these outfits were particularly memorable.
While in Los Angeles, the “Only Exception” singer was spotted on the red carpet in a black short-sleeved mini dress with raw fringe ribbon bows. The dress of choice, designed by LA designer Chelsea Rebel, came with a structured skirt that came off the hips. Williams accessorized her “coming out” dress with a pair of black pumps and a gold chain around her neck — and of course, her signature bright orange hair color.

Bows, you’ll recall, were a big deal in the 2010s, and as we’ve witnessed the resurgence of early-outfit fashion trappings, many have upped their affinity for the love ornament. Some current brands have embedded arrows in their DNA, including Shanghai-based label Shushu/Tong, Carolina Herrera and Loveshack Fancy, to name a few. As emerging “core” styles continue to make their way onto the radar, we’re bound to see plenty of bow-embellished silhouettes, especially with the ballet core currently reigning as the must-see trend of the year.
