PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 29, 2022: In recognition of 16 individuals who have served in the branches of the United States Armed Forces, the Philadelphia Business Journal Agar named David Dzingowski the 2022 Veteran of Impact. David and the other recipients will be honored on November 10 at City Winery in Philadelphia.
David served on active duty in the US Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps from 2009 to 2014. In his role with the US Navy, he represented many sailors and sailors before courts-martial and administrative boards before the US Court of Appeals. Court of Criminal Appeals of the Armed Forces and the US Navy-Marine Corps. David taught law at the US Naval Academy and served as a Rule of Law Field Support Officer in the Arghandab River Valley of Kandahar, Afghanistan. He continues to serve as a commander in the US Navy Reserve and supports his fellow armed services through the Hope for Veterans Community Council and his pro bono work.
David is a member of the Morgan Lewis Veterans Advocate Network, which seeks to promote the leadership and development of the firm’s current and former military service members and foster a sense of community. Members work with and interact with veterans, collaborate with clients, address issues important to veterans and active military service, and join organizations committed to providing pro bono legal services to veterans.
