Designed by Yusuke Takahashi – formerly of ISSEY MIYAKE MEN – the new collection from Clothing For Contemporary Life (CFCL) for Spring/Summer 2023 features a range of sizes.
As “Vol. 5 inches for the product, the new collection is centered around the blue color and contrasting proportions (elongated, exaggerated and round), with an angular floor area painted in blue and covered with blown glass objects. In addition, blue labels are sprinkled throughout the dress presentation, including floaty pants and cropped tops, to further emphasize the cobalt theme.
Intricate knits with basket-down cardigans, sleeveless layers, turtlenecks and skirts are highlights of the collection, while domed hats and angled boots underpin the ready-to-wear collections.
Since the launch of the Takahashi 2020 brand, CFCL has won this year’s Tokyo Fashion Awards and gained attention and appreciation from buyers and consumers.
