Men’s 4th, Women’s 9th at the Joe Pian Invitational

South Bend, Ind. – The Texas Tech men’s cross country team finished fourth, while the women’s team finished ninth at the Joe Pian Invitational on Friday afternoon on the Notre Dame campus.

The boys scored 142 points in the gold 5-mile run. Meanwhile, the women scored 248 points in the gold 5k.

“A strong outing for both teams,” said the cross country coach John Murray. “It was great to see a different team than usual, we were able to see where we are now with our training and the progression continues.”
