Celebrated annually on October 10, this day is an opportunity to strengthen global commitment to raise awareness of mental health issues and mobilize efforts to support public mental health. On this occasion, the Pan American Health Organization is promoting a campaign to reduce mental health stigma under the slogan:#Share to support mental health.“
This session will provide an opportunity to discuss stigma and discrimination, the impact it has on people with mental health problems and how ensuring mental health and wellbeing is a global priority.
