Fuse TV is bringing us a brand new fashion-centric competition show. Upcycle Nation. Produced and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Karrueche Tran, the show It features designers and fashionistas across the country competing to transform everyday items into fashion-forward streetwear. Fashion guru Jerome Lamarr and bicycle inventor Peter Cho also star as expert judges.

Upcycle Nation Not only is it fun to watch, but it also shows people how creative they can be with their clothes,” Tran explained. “I know a lot of fashion brands are aiming to go sustainable and I can’t wait for people to see how creative they can be. And the contestants had very little motivation with work.

Each episode starts with three contestants going through two extreme challenges to win a rip, tear, staple, burn, hammer and cash prize. From taking discarded jeans and turning them into a functional jacket, from repurposing old Oreo bags into new couture handbags, they use their raw talent to make literally anything amazing.

This season, 24 designers from across the country will compete. Some of our favorite celebrities include Julian Carter from Huntsville, Alabama who works for the government missile defense by day, but by night he’s wearing a suit and creating content for TikTok. An engineering background helps an aerospace engineer approach design with a unique lens that allows him to troubleshoot problems and apply functionality to create simple yet impressive designs.

Another contestant is Anna Molinari from NYC. She is known as the queen of dirty fashion and her designs are featured Pop sugarand nylon, and walked down the catwalk during NY Fashion Week 2022. Her plans for the future are playful and sassy at the same time.

Contestant Tylo May from Arkansas says his inspiration and background for his designs is hip hop music. His brand MYNTWave clothing makes playful streetwear with a cool, modern edge.

Upcycle Nation Premieres Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on Fuse TV.
