GEHA and the Baltimore Ravens launched the Purple Health Ticket

On Sunday, September 18, in conjunction with the team’s first home game of the 2022 season, the Government Employees Health Association (GEHA), Novo Nordisk and the Baltimore Ravens launched the Purple Ticket to Health (PTTH) program. The PTTH program is designed to encourage members of the Ravens Flock to take steps to implement a healthy lifestyle. By completing online Health questionnairePresented by MedStar Health, Ravens fans can learn about preventative health practices while earning exclusive rewards and experiences from the Ravens. Prizes include VIP game day hospitality experiences, exclusive Ravens events and autographed memorabilia.

“Medical conditions such as obesity and diabetes have a significant impact on families and individuals, including reduced quality of life, financial burden and shortened life expectancy,” said Art Nizza, GEHA President and CEO. “Programs like Purple Ticket to Health help raise awareness and educate people to understand and manage their conditions. In partnership with the Baltimore Ravens and Novo Nordisk, we offer diabetes and obesity screenings to improve the overall health of the community.”

Throughout the season, fans can visit Ravens Walk for wellness tickets at select Ravens home games and non-game day events. Purple night on Oct. 17. The partnership will also provide program awareness through in-stadium screenings, a presence on the Ravens’ digital channels and media support throughout the season.

“Access to health-related resources that promote education and awareness is essential to leading a healthy lifestyle,” said Kevin Rochlitz, Ravens senior vice president and chief sales officer. “The Ravens champion healthy living, and through our partnership with GEHA and Novo Nordisk and the launch of the Purple Ticket for Health program, we highlight the importance of taking preventative health measures, and continue to make these resources easily accessible to Ravens fans.”
