Harold Melion Jr He was appointed as a research assistant professor and academic coordinator Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center.
Melion was previously chair and program director of the Department of Agricultural Sciences/Animal Sciences in the Southern College of Agricultural, Family and Consumer Sciences.

Howell has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience. He spent the first 20 years of his career with Baton Rouge General, starting as a financial analyst and eventually becoming director of decision support, strategy, business development and physician analytics. He then started his own consulting firm that works with hospitals across the country and was involved in starting the Louisiana Health Care Information Exchange.
In the year He joined Maine-based Northern Light Health in 2015, where he served as vice president of capital planning and finance prior to joining Ochsner.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and accounting and a master’s degree in finance from LSU.

Sahar Hadadian. joined Neil-Shaffer as an offshore hydraulic engineer in the firm’s Baton Rouge office.
She has three years of experience at the Gulf Water Institute, where she provided coastal expertise and coastal hydraulic modeling services while working for the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority. Prior to that, she provided offshore engineering and modeling services to clients in Florida and the Caribbean.
She received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tabriz University, in civil engineering – hydraulic engineering from Tehran University, and her doctorate in civil engineering – coastal engineering from LSU.
