Copenhagen-based fashion label ROTATE is jumping into the Web3 world by introducing its first-ever NFT and digital apparel.
The opening comes just in time for Copenhagen Fashion Week for the spring/summer 2023 season, scheduled for August 8 to 12. The launch will also highlight the ROTATE signature, which transforms into a virtual outfit worn through augmented reality (AR) on Snapchat. Staying true to the Danish brand’s DNA, the supreme design has been reinterpreted for viewers and followers to try on the dress themselves after the SS23 show is set to take place on August 11.
In addition to launching as an AR experience, Teresa’s dress is also being released as a series of NFTs via THE DEMATERIALISED. This marks the opening of the digital “ROTAT3” number created in collaboration with MOJOMOTO.
Take a sneak peek at THERESA’s dress above. Retailing for €800 Euros (approximately US$817), the ROTAT3 physical dress comes with an AR experience, along with an animated .mp4 collectible and a limited edition physical THERESA dress. The ROTAT3 digital NFT, which retails for €80 euros (approximately $82 USD), offers membership benefits such as early access to future releases from ROTATE.
Keep your eyes peeled for ROTATE’s SS23 collection as well as the “ROTAT3” issue when it launches on August 11.
