Stephen Memorial Hospital 2022 Annual Fund
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of people like you to provide the best possible care for our patients. Annual donors are essential to meet the ongoing needs of the hospital. Recently, annual gifts have funded the purchase of much-needed medical equipment, including a new MRI machine and breast tomosynthesis scanner. We confirmed our partnership with the Maine Medical Center/Tufts Medical Student Program, and provided funding to relocate and expand our cancer care program. When you make a gift to the Annual Fund this year, you can designate which programs you will support:
- PACE Paramedic Renewal: Each year, PACE paramedics respond to more than 4,900 emergencies in our community and provide critical transportation between health care facilities. The volume of calls has increased significantly in the last two years and this trend is expected to continue. Our trained paramedics and EMTs are ready to respond to the expected increase in demand, but we need your help. The PACE Paramedic Building will require significant upgrades and renovations to accommodate HVAC needs, provide private bedrooms and bathrooms for additional staff, and create adequate garage space to maintain and store the ambulances.
- Care team safety; Every day, the care team at Stephen’s goes above and beyond for their patients. During these challenging times, you are giving your all to ensure the health and safety of those you have the privilege of caring for, including your loved ones, neighbors, friends, and perhaps even yourself. Directing your annual financial donation to Care Team Wellness helps support charitable initiatives that support our Care Team.
Whether you’re headed to PACE or Care Team Wellness, your gift to Stephenson is an investment in the health and well-being of your local community. When you give to Stephens Memorial Hospital, you help ensure that health care is available to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
