If you notice your most fashionable friends worrying about their closets more than usual or refreshing the CFDA website again, don’t panic. These are simply signs that another fashion week is upon us, so if you haven’t blocked the second week of September on your Google account, I suggest you do so now.
Every year, New York Fashion Week offers not only spectacular shows, but also glamorous presentations, private previews, glamorous parties and more. Recent seasons have been kept very low-key due to pandemic precautions, but the spring/summer 2023 season is shaping up to be a major affair. (Read: Who could have seen the Fendi show coming?)
The Council of Fashion Designers of America has partnered with IMG’s NYFW: The Shows to create an official calendar, with many smaller designers coordinating their own special shows and events during fashion week as a way to get in on the action.
The official schedule runs from September 9 to September 13. Read on for a look at each day’s lineup and designers will be sticking around digitally or hosting private previews by appointment.
