Vaccination appointments are available through the Milwaukee Health Department
800 total appointments are open for eligible individuals.
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Health Department has opened up additional rabies vaccinations this week. Appointments take place at the Menomonee Valley Drive-Thru Clinic (2401 W. St Paul Ave.). Vaccination appointments are available at the following time intervals:
- Tuesday, August 16: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m
- Wednesday, August 17: 12 – 6 p.m
- Thursday, August 18: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m
- Friday, August 19: 12 – 6 p.m
Vaccinations are available by appointment only; No entries will be accepted. Appointments are placed on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who are eligible and interested should make an appointment Using this link.
The vaccine is available to individuals age 18 and older who live or work in Wisconsin and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- People who have had skin-to-skin contact with a person diagnosed with monkeypox in the past 14 days.
- People who have been at an event or place where there has been known monkeypox in the last 14 days.
- Homosexuals, bisexuals and others who have sex with men, trans women and those who have had multiple sexual partners in the past 14 days.
If you do not meet these criteria, please do not make an appointment, as you are not eligible at this time.
