Amanda Geary has been appointed Assistant Professor of Business Law and Ethics at Clarkson University.

A native of Ogdensburg, NY, she graduated from Hofstra University with a Morris A. Deane received her Juris Doctor degree from the School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Clarkson University. Gary is a graduate of The Clarkson School, Clarkson’s first college program.

Gerry has experience in a variety of legal fields. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and practices law at her firm, The Law Office of Amanda Geary in Ogdensburg.

She has written articles for NNB Business Magazine and the New York Law Journal.

Geary Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Ogdenburg Area Zonta Club, Clarkson Greek Alumni Council, City of Ogdenburg Arts Council, Seaway Valley Defense Council Board, New York State Bar Association, St. Lawrence County Bar Association, and City of Ogdenburg Recreation Committee.

She previously served as a social services attorney for the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services.
