Weeks ahead of his sixth season at New York Fashion Week (NYFW), Justin Haynes, the Springfield-based fashion designer and creative mind behind the “JUS10H” fashion label, has announced that the brand’s latest collection will be a collaboration. With Hennessy Cognac.
Hein said the new collection, “Classic,” will debut on Sept. 13 at the New York Fashion Week show in New York City’s Financial District.
“It’s about showing the ‘vintage side’ of Hennessy,” says Haynes.
Since its introduction in 1765, Hennessy Cognac has evolved greatly in forms, sizes and flavors. The Springfield designer plans to pay homage to French Cognac’s roots.
What Haynes calls “classic,” they mix textiles and fabrics in cognac hues with JUS10H’s popular denim and gray hues.

“I think I’ve done a good job of representing the city well,” said Justin Haynes, who hopes the brand will inspire other designers in the Springfield and Western Massachusetts area. “I’m looking forward to more collections, I’ll make sure everything I do is great out of respect for my city.”
With no credentials or publicity in the fashion industry, the Springfield native launched his inaugural clothing line in 2009 at Enfield Square Mall.
13 years later, Haynes’ clothing line JUS10H has been shown at fashion weeks in Paris, Los Angeles, New York and Miami. His work has garnered him numerous fashion and lifestyle awards and his clothes have been featured in a CoverGirl ad in Times Square.
Haynes appeared on Nick Cannon’s self-titled forum in February and produced a custom-built JUS10H for the celebrity.
