Olympia – The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) has announced updated guidance on home testing for COVID-19, including changes to how to report self-test results and additional information about treatment for COVID-19. of Complete guidelines are available on the DOH website.

While the hotline will remain in service, the focus is shifting to a Care Connect service that provides additional support for people who have recently tested positive.

The COVID-19 testing program continues to provide up to 10 free tests each month to first-time Washington families. Say yes! By reporting results through the SYCT digital assistant, Washingtonians can help Public Health understand the burden and trends of infection in Washington State.
Washingtonians who have tested positive for COVID-19 and need isolation assistance such as food, personal care kits or other needs can still contact the WA DOH COVID-19 hotline at 1-800-525-0127. Report a positive test result and ask to speak with Care Connect or go to a care relationship hub. Those who do not require further assistance should continue to report positive cases through the SYCT portal.
