The Red Raiders head to the Dick McGuire Invitational.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The No. 24 Texas Tech women’s golf program heads to Albuquerque this week for the Branch Law School Dick McGuire Invitational hosted by the University of New Mexico at UNM’s Championship Course.

The 17-team field includes the host Lobos, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas City, Kansas State, Ohio State and USC, among others.

The first round of Monday’s gun starts at 8:30 am (CT) with the second round starting around 1:30 pm (CT). The Red Raiders are paired with host UNM and USC for both the first and second rounds.

Format:

A total of 54 holes (36 on Monday, 18 on Tuesday).

The No. 24 Texas Tech women’s golf program finished sixth Sunday in the 2022 Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach Golf Club. The Red Raiders were led by youth. Gala Dumez He scored a combined three rounds of -1 and finished sixth. As a team, Texas Tech (+33) made the most field goals (217) of any team in the eighth team.


A pair of Red Raiders finished tied for 24th place Chiara Hoarder He shot a final round 71 (-1) to finish with a +9 overall. Hoarder rebounded from an opening round of 81 with back-to-back strong rounds.


Freshman Lauren Zaretsky also finished in 24th place.
