Billings – It’s a model magazine, lipstick and glory. These are just a few of the magazines the Billings fashion model has been featured in, but now she has even bigger news as she prepares to head to London for London Fashion Week.
“It’s huge, it’s nerve-wracking to travel overseas and do something that most people don’t get to do, and to have the opportunity to do it and be one of the only girls from Montana to be selected is amazing,” Nicole Williams said. – Bogio
Nicole is a 2019 graduate of Billings West High School who has modeled on international runways from Los Angeles to New York and now London later this month.
“She took acting and modeling lessons with Kiara Belen, one of America’s Next Top Models,” her mother, Denise Boggio, said.
That was three years ago, but if you look back, Nicole has quite a story to tell about how she got started.
“She started modeling when she was one,” Denise said. “We did a baby contest and everyone thought I was silly for that, but I wanted to have it in her baby book. She got second place and won the award for best eyes.”
Go back further and that was a very important milestone.
“Nicole was born in an emergency, she really almost died,” her mother said. “She was 4 pounds, 1 ounce when she was born and they said she went without food for 2-3 weeks before she was born. They let her go home at 3 pounds, 14 ounces.”
She faced another major obstacle growing up, with anonymous bullying and death threats in the closet. But she keeps moving forward and wants others to do the same.
“I would like to say to all of you who have been bullied in my position, always set your sights on what you want to do, and don’t let anyone dim your spark,” she said.
And that is what she is doing from one runway to another.
“You don’t think it’s going to happen, you hope it happens,” Dennis said.
She will be one of six petite models taking the Fashion Life Tour to London.
“I know I have a dress that’s made for me,” Nicole said. “That’s great. That’s fun.”
