Greene County detectives are investigating a shoplifting incident involving a man and a woman. The thefts happened Aug. 12 at Mike’s Special Antique Mall in the 3300 block of West Sunshine. Security video shows a man and woman entering the business around 5 p.m

Investigators identified the vehicle as a black or dark blue Chevy Cruise that may have a paper temporary tag on the back. An employee and his wife were separated once in the store. Half an hour later, the man left carrying his long, wide skateboard.

Greene County Deputy Peggy Rippy estimates the cost of a longboard to be between $60 and $500, depending on the type. The employee also stated that the woman stole a red and black duffel bag with an unknown amount of value inside.
